3. Purpose of the platform
LuxFlat Direct is an online marketplace that puts private landlords and prospective tenants in direct contact for the rental of furnished rooms and apartments in Luxembourg, for stays from one month with no maximum duration.
LuxFlat Direct is not a real estate agency, does not act as a broker or agent for either party, and is not a party to the rental agreement concluded between a landlord and a tenant. The platform provides technical and administrative services only: publication of listings, verification of tenant documents, messaging, contract generation and payment of the first month's rent.
4. Content and responsibility
Listings are published by landlords under their own responsibility. LuxFlat Direct verifies tenant documents but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or lawfulness of the descriptions, photographs, prices or availability entered by landlords.
The rental agreement is concluded directly between landlord and tenant. LuxFlat Direct is not liable for the performance of that agreement, the condition of the property, or any dispute arising between the parties.
The publisher endeavours to keep the site available and its information up to date, but gives no warranty of uninterrupted access and may suspend the service for maintenance.

5. Intellectual property
The LuxFlat and LuxFlat Direct names, logos, page layouts, texts, graphics and software are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of the publisher or its licensors. Photographs published in listings remain the property of the landlord who uploaded them, who grants LuxFlat Direct a non-exclusive licence to display them on the platform and in related communications.

Personal data collected through the platform — including identity documents, proof of income and employment contracts submitted by tenants — is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Luxembourg data protection law. The purposes of processing, retention periods and your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection are described in our privacy policy. The competent supervisory authority is the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), Luxembourg.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
